Of all the interviews, rumors, and excessive media coverage spewing out this last week, I found the following article by Ian Halperin over at UK’s Daily Mail Online to be the most interesting and insightful.
Halperin has been following MJ’s life closely since 2005, and seems to have inside sources concerning his health, business partners, and sexuality. Like anything in the media, especially when it comes to the King of Pop, take this with a grain of salt.
Halperin is set to release his book, “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson” in a few weeks.

Wow, very interesting article but it just makes me even sadder. With everything that has been written, everything that has been discussed, the most important thing that has come out of it for me is that I have begun listening to his music again and appreciating his magnificent talent. What else can be said about Michael Jackson? Truly the most famous person who has passed away in my lifetime.
Oh, good. I have an article to try out. I have been skeeved to read anything at all about MJ. I start to, and then it all seems like grandstanding or vulturing or just scary stupid. I’ll try this one out on your recommendation.
By the way, and totally off the topic, but I’m impressed as hell you have Fuck You Penguin on your list of Good Words. Check out Things I Want To Punch In the Face, too. Almost always a crack up.
