There are many great movie villains. Last weekend when I went to go see Inglourious Basterds I saw on screen probably the greatest villain of all time, Hans Landa. He will do whatever he has to do to get what he wants.

Wow, those are really cool. I would like to get me one with Nicholson from the “Shining”! He is one of my favorite bad guys in the movies, although this list is hard for me because it’s like picking my favorite movie: it changes a lot. I just looked at the AFI list of the greatest villains and I saw so many classic ones: Norman Bates, Nurse Hatchett, Freddy, Hannibal Lector, Travis Bickle (more of an anti-hero), and Darth Vader. I would like to point out a couple of more recent villains I really enjoyed: Anton Chigur in “No Country For Old Men”, Heath Ledger’s Joker, and Bill the Butcher in “Gangs of New York.” What makes a good villain anyway?

My favorite villain is still Kevin Spacey in Seven. I’m a sucker for those that can do the quiet, antisocial, serial killer types well. I don’t think he’d be very scary in a peephole though.

I agree with Justin on Nicholson from The Shining for a peephole. The shot with him holding the axe while peering through the half beaten in door would be perfect.

I believe the greatest movie villain of all-time is Frank Booth from Blue Velvet.

I actually can’t imagine anyone as scary as Jack Nicholson. He scared the shit ouf of me in The Shining, even as the loser warlock in the Witches of Eastwick, even as the guy we have empathy for in As Good As It Gets, he even scared me in Chinatown and Five Easy Pieces. That fucker scares the shit out of me. A friend of mine worked with him on Witches of Eastwick and said he was a cool dude and lots of fun, but I swear, if I saw him, I’d have to just stand there without speaking.

    That in itself is miraculous.

    Anne Wilkes from “Misery.”

    Chucky from “Child’s Play.”

    The Clown from “Poltergeist.”

    Hans Gruber from “Die Hard.”

    Asami Yamazaki from “Audition.”

(And honorable mention to Joseph from “The Changeling.”)

Well Anton Sigur from No Country for Old Men was the scariest villain to me in a long time.

However, I love Hackman and Spacey as Lex Luthor!

I can’t be the ONLY one terrified by the Wayan brothers from “White Chicks.”

Their eyes! Their fuggin’ eyes! It’s like staring into the abyss of Lucifer’s rectum. O_O

SO creepy! The masculine malformation of the jawline. The pasty matte skin texture. And again, THOSE DAMN EYES!

How the HELL can Terry Crews’ character want to pork them?! How I ask you! HOW?!

Easily one of the scariest…Justin Guarini from “From Justin to Kelly”.
