The background characters in this episode were awesome. I dunno why, but I loved it.
Every time I get close to having a theater by myself someone shows up at the last second. But it’s exciting for those 10-15 minutes.
@Drew- I know that feeling. When my friend and I went to see Zombieland about a month after its release, we were the only ones in the theater, until about 2 minutes before the movie started. A shady man ruined our fun…:-)
good episode men
Yes! Lord of the Rings is so overrated!
So, Jimmy, what did you end up thinking about the Dark Knight? Did it live up to all of the hype?
@Zack- Funnily enough, Zombieland was the closest I came too. My friend and I were one trailer away from an empty theater until 3 teenagers walked. I was already to text and make snide comments during the movie.
I definitely thought the Dark Knight lived up to all its hype. The film was well done, wouldn’t call it the best movie of all time, but one of the better Batman movies that have been produced. I still can’t get into Batman Begins, and I don’t know if I should attribute that to Christopher Nolan or the pacing of the story. Part of that sentiment carries over into the Dark Knight too.
Well said Jimmy.
A friend and I went and saw “Dan In Real Life” when that was making its run, and we were the only two there. 40 minutes into the movie three kids come into the theatre, sit in the back, and proceed to start smoking a doobie. My friend got pissed off because they kept making noise, and he hated the smell, so he told someone on the staff. They left, and with about 20 minutes left in the movie we both had to give a statement to the police in the theatre. Made that movie a bit more interesting.
I know this pisses a lot of people off, but did anyone see the glaring plot holes in the Dark Knight?
hey jimmy, hey chris. you were talking about the lack of good post apocalyptic movies in a way, you should check out http://www.quietearth.us/postapoc.htm
QE is dedicated to post apocalyptic and genre film. you might not agree with their ratings but they have a real nice foucs on their genre and pick up a lot of interesting things.
did u ever say why you end the show. like seriously? i m devestated. seriously. ur show does have something unique about it. i ll miss you guys :’(
I saw Paranormal Activity in a completely empty theater. At 10:30 at night. Alone.
I’m not sure if I was as excited as you guys were by that. It was f’in scary.
I saw it in a full theater in the middle of the day and I was still freaked out. Maybe because my theater was dead quiet waiting to see what would happen next and then would scream and laugh when appropriate. It was a good crowd, good experience. When I got home and went to bed, I couldnt get certain images out of my head and was scared to go to sleep. Lol.
