    Hi Guys,

Firstly, I’d like to say I really miss your podcast. I’m from the UK and while we have podcasts the wonderful Mark Kermode & Simon Mayo reviewing films, I miss an American perspective, so if you have any film review podcast recommendations, that would be great.

But on to the topic in hand.. It’s good to hear you are both busy and working hard. I look forward to the day when I can see one of your projects at the cinema/on DVD.

    Take care, Jo

Cool, Chris. Thanks for the update. I also made a contribution to your film and I cannot wait to see it! Hope it is all going well!

Great to hear. I finally listened to the farewell episode just last Monday. (I didn’t want to acknowledge The End.) I’ll miss you guys, but look forward to Chris’s big “coming-of-age” film, as well as all the future projects you guys are involved in.

    Auf wiedersehen!

Thank you for the update. It’s still weird to think that there are no new episodes. Best of luck and hope to hear more from you and Jimmy in the future.

Psssh…About time you guys were ACTUALLY busy doing work. During the podcast days, these guys have had more vacation time/stories than work hours/tales. “Busy” guys…”busy” guys.

Its great to hear from you guys, its been a long time. Hope you guys can post more but its good that you are doing well and working.

Nice to know that you’re doing well guys, best of lucks with all your projects!

I still miss hearing your voices though, and I’ve tried listening to other podcasts but none of them is quite as entertaining and informative as yours was. I personally hated Filmspotting with a passion, but I found /Filmcast to be the closest thing to the glory days of Scene Unseen, so I guess that’s ok.

Keep working hard guys, just remember to blog every once in a while when you have time.

    Hey C-J,

Great to know you guys are hard at work, I can’t wait to see what you put out. I’m sure it will be awesome. On my podcast, you have gotten many shout-outs.

@Jay- What’s with the Filmspotting hate? That’s my second favorite film podcast (still active) after the /Filmcast… Adam and Matty are smart guys and are very entertaining to listen to. I recommend listening to Filmspotting at the grocery store.

Also, I was wondering if here and there you guys would randomly do a show. I think that would be awesome and surprising to all of us, as I’m still a “subscriber”. Then again, you’ve probably sold all of your podcasting equipment for other things, so whatever.

I’m listening to the back catalogue, people who aren’t seasoned veterans need to listen to the “Ratatouille” and “The Simpsons Movie” episodes. Mumby cracks me up, that guy really knows how to argue against himself.

Take it easy bloggers, I’m out.

@Zack Sparrow – I think it’s kinda my fault, Filmspotting was the first film podcast I listened to after Scene Unseen was over. I was expecting something more like two friends talking about movies and Stallone and Ninja Turtles. It was too serious and a little cold for my taste, I guess that’s why I didn’t like it that much. However, I recognize those guys are really smart and know about movies. Maybe someday I’ll give Filmspotting another chance.

  16. Erik Olsgaard said:

@Jay – I know what you mean. By no means are /Filmcast and Filmspotting bad podcasts, but they aren’t really very similar to Scene Unseen, which we are all used to. I definitely got that “cold” feeling too, mostly because they seem a little too serious. I personally like Filmspotting more because they are more argumentative at /Filmcast, which can rub me the wrong way.

In other news… The Criterion Collection is now on Hulu! The world just got a little brighter.

  19. Jonathan said:

No disrespect, but I agree with Zack Sparrow. I understand you guys are busy, but at least have somebody take over please.

    Hey everyone,

I know we all miss Chris & Jimmy but…sigh…we have to let go…holding on to them is like holding on to the past…we loved them then (and we will always love them) but this intense infatuation is becoming unhealthy. Let’s give them their space and hope for the best. In the meantime, there are millions of other podcasts in the sea.

  21. shane said:

As much as it pains me to say this, i agree with @Justin Atkinson.

But come on Chris and Jimmy, if it’s over please let us know. Why just lead us on. We’re all grown ups here, if it is indeed over, blog and al, JUST TELL US. PLEASE GUYS?

  22. Victoria said:

@ Jonathan- And they wouldn’t have to do any work, I’m sure some of us S/U fanatics would supply content…
